Prayer - Father you are the giver of life. And because You created us, You are the only one that knows what we truly need. One of those great needs is a relationship with You and putting all of our trust in You. So Father today help us to grow in our relationship with You and our love and trust will grow stronger. Help us to deny ourselves and others, and surrender our hearts and lives to You. In Jesus name, amen.
Saturday I attended my bi-weekly women's ministry meeting. We met outdoors near a lake. As we ended our study, we begin to walk around and discuss trusting the Lord with all of our hearts. We watched how the geese were so carefree and going on about their business as God guided them. Then some questions were posed to us, "Why do we worry and fear? Why are we so busy but yet not at peace? Are we trusting God as these animals out here? I found myself pondering on the last question. Am I really trusting God in such a manner? My answer was no. We all want to get to a place of trusting God completely, but we get distracted by life, people, and things. Today let us stop and focus on God's creation around us. It will remind us that our heavenly Father loves us more than we could ever know and He has our best interest at heart. So join me in prayer this week as I pray to trust and love God with every fiber of my being and not leaning on my own understanding.

In a world of uncertainty, God is the same! He has not changed. He is and has always been the true and living God! He created us and designed us in His image and likeness. His image is not sin. His image is not darkness. His image is light and truth! If we confess our sins, He promises that He will forgive us and restore us back to Himself. He forgives us and cleanses us from all that is not like Him. He is the only one that determines what is unrighteous, not this world. This world will pass away and everything in it, but our Lord is eternal and He has made us eternal beings. Therefore, eternity in His presence is ours as we repent and turn away from what He has not called us to, and we surrender to Him and allow Him to be Lord of our lives. However, when we question His word (The Bible) as the only truth, how then can we confess something that we don't believe is a sin? We can't! If He is God (and He is), then the truth is only found in Him. And if that truth is only found in Him (and it is), then wouldn't He want us to know that truth? He does and that truth is found in the Bible. Today, let us confess our sins and be set free! True freedom is found in the Holy One, Christ our Lord! In order to be set free from our sins, we have to first acknowledge that we are sinners. God alone sets the standard for how we, mankind should conduct our lives. He determines what sin is or isn't because He is the creator. He (Jesus) desires to set us free from the bondage of sin. Let us confess all today and allow Him to set us free and walk in His truth.

In today's society, many people have an "Anything goes" mentality as it pertains to belief systems. We as Christians believe and know that there is none other than Christ Jesus our Lord! He is the Devine One. He is not in the grave. He is risen! He is alive forever more. He is the redeemer of the soul of man! Therefore, there is a standard for communing with Him and allowing His redemptive power to work in our lives. We must walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). Darkness represents everything that He is not!

As we continue with the daily H.O.P.E. from Psalm 121, the word preserve stands out to me in verse 7. Preserve means to protect and keep. The only one who can preserve us is the creator of our being. The maker knows what is needed to preserve us. He knows our end from the beginning. Therefore, our trust has to remain in Him, walking with Him, and allowing Him to do what only He can do. His keeping power is not temporary!

Some months ago I was struggling with fear when I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. I had to have lots of testing done. One day during that difficult time the Lord placed Psalm 121 on my heart. He is always right there when we need Him the most. He never leaves us; we leave Him. We get off track. We pull away from our relationship with Him due to our personal choices or life circumstances. Let us pray today that He will help us to place all of our trust in Him. He never fails!

As I got up this morning to pray, I felt God leading me to this scripture. I have been rereading Genesis and all of my Daily H.O.P.E.'s have come from there, but God wanted to speak to someone today. There are so many today that are sick in their bodies, heartbroken, or even emotionally scarred. Jesus wants to heal you today. I begin to study every word from Isaiah 53:5 and I was so amazed at what Christ has done for each and every one of us. I came to an understanding that Jesus was correcting what sin had done to our lives. It had separated us from Him. He was righting our wrong. We don't deserve His redemption, yet He did it anyway. What a mighty savior indeed!
Today He wants to give you true peace! Peace from rejection. Peace from failure. Peace from everything that you might encounter in the here and now. He is our healer! No one else has the power to do what He did on the cross. So receive your healing today and walk with the living, eternal savior and Lord of all, Jesus Christ. Be healed in Jesus! #hope-in-christ Enjoy this worship song by Hillsong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5qoQmjwv-0 Copyright © 2016 by Denise Walker/Project H.O.P.E. Ministries, Inc. Bible Verses from New King James Version were found on Bible Gateway. All throughout biblical history, people turned away from serving God. In the midst of this turning away, God would always raise up one to speak His truth to the people. This is an example of God's grace. God knows that He designed us with a free will. He didn't want robots and He knew what it would take to reach us. I remember praying and asking God one day, "Lord why did you create us? We are so disobedient at times! We want what we want and that want is separate from You. So why did you create us, you didn't need us?" Then I heard a still small voice say to me, "I wanted a family."
Therefore, God continues throughout history to raise up men and women to speak His truth, so that He might redeem His family back to Himself. Copyright © 2016 by Denise Walker/Project H.O.P.E. Just as the enemy deceived Eve into believing that she didn't need God if she had the knowledge of good and evil, the enemy is doing the same all around us. People have walked away from the foundation of our lives, God's Word. They are listening to the enemy whisper that they don't need God and that they have full control of their own lives. He is whispering that they are able to make the right decisions with God's intervention. However, one essential truth is left out by the enemy. God is greater than mankind! He is infinite! He created time and space and He is eternal. He knows our end from the beginning. We need His guidance. For without Him, we truly perish.

One is soul salvation from our sins through Jesus Christ. All we have to do is surrender to Him and be made whole. God has also promised us some other things. We have to stand firm and trust what He has said. It doesn't matter what our past or others may say. It only matters what God said! He knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. He did it for Abraham and He will do the same for us!
